In the year 2020 we are witnessing a globalization of the waiting state following the lockdown applied in a total manner on the planet to cope with the international health emergency of the Covid-19 pandemic. In this epochal period the desire was born to re-present, in the form of an extract, a production of 15 years ago, "Penelope Canti d'attesa" dedicated to the art of slowness, to stasis and to the worlds that flow inside us while "being" . That pause of Penelope, as opposed to the travel of Ulysses, returns to be of great relevance.

The project investigates the nature of resilience, in the search for adaptability and flexibility in a world that is sometimes unable to understand. The concept of feeling uncomfortable is developed by the choreographer as a journey to discover oneself and the ability to adapt to external agents, putting oneself to the test, squeezing and expanding in space, learning to breathe even where one is completely submerged.
