DANCEHAUSpiù
National Centre for Dance Production
DANCEHAUSpiù is the National Dance Production Centre based in Milan, founded in 2011 with the aim of bringing together and strengthening the objectives and expertise of three established organisations in the field: the ContART Association, directed by Matteo Bittante; the ArtedanzaE20 Association, directed by Annamaria Onetti; and DanceHaus Susanna Beltrami.
Since 2015, the Centre has received funding for its audience development and promotion activities from the Municipality of Milan, the Lombardy Region and the MiC – Ministry of Culture, which in 2018 officially recognised it as a National Dance Production Centre, the fourth of its kind in Italy.
Since 2021, the Lombardy Region has recognised it as a Regional Institution of Cultural Relevance in the field of cultural and educational promotion and the performing arts.

DANCEHAUSpiù operates in the dance field with actions aimed at supporting
- Production, promotion and dissemination of live performances
- Audience development
- Local, national and international collaboration between artists and cultural institutions.
In line with current cultural trends, DANCEHAUSpiù also promotes collaborations with universities/academies and various dance organisations in the region.
The Centre is particularly active in the development of networks of artistic and cultural offers such as the Dance Card Network and the Italian Network Europe Beyond Access. It also promotes national and international partnership agreements with organisations such as: the Cro.Me Cultural Association, the Quebec Delegation in Rome and the Eurasia Dance Project International Network.
