Each dancer carried out a period of artistic residency in the different destination countries, meeting in the morning with the local community, especially groups of male and female students from local dance schools, in the form of a seminar dedicated to the hybridisation of techniques and the exchange of practices. In the afternoon, they dedicated themselves to research aimed at the realisation of a solo that was presented in the form of a work in progress at the end of the residency.

Ricardo Cruz

Ricardo Cruz
| LOCAL ARTIST

Professional musician specialising in piano. He studied and deepened his training with various teachers, including Eli Baldelamar, Geraldine Ramirez and teachers from the Instituto Potosino de Bellas Artes. Between 2005 and 2007, he specialised at the Generation Institute of Fine Arts. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to entertainment with live music in various venues and since 2000 he has started composing musical works with the production of two albums of classical and pop rock music.

Girish Kumar

After graduating in Engineering, he turned to dance training at the Attakkalari Center for Movement Arts in Bangalore, then gaining admission to the Contemporary Dance School Humburg in 2017 through 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. While studying in Hamburg, he worked with 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, was selected for 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 in Milan at 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗛𝗮𝘂𝘀 and for 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 at Wayne McGregor's studio. After graduation, in 2020, he was selected by 𝗚𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗸 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 with only 'SANATANA'. He is currently part of 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 as a floorwork technique teacher and works as a freelance artist. Her latest projects include 'deep.dance' by Jascha Viehstädt and the new creation 'Trust your gut' funded by the DIS-TANZEN programme of the German Federal Government's Commissioner for Culture and Media.

Fernando Dominguez Rincon

A graduate in modern and contemporary dance, in 2008 he was awarded the European Corrie Hartong Funds scholarship at CODARTS University of the Arts in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and in 2011 a scholarship from the Government of Mexico with the Study Abroad Programme of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) and the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) to specialise in Contemporary Ballet. He began his training in contemporary dance at the Instituto Potosino de Bellas Artes in Mexico and at the American Ballet Theater College Program in New York, USA. With fifteen years of experience as a dancer, choreographer and producer, he has established a professional career in Europe and America. As a dancer, he has performed a vast repertoire that includes works by Jiri Kylian, Hans Van Manen, Lucinda Childs, Martha Graham, Adriaan Luteijn, Liat Magnezy, Arno Schu itemaker, Melissa Ellbeger, etc.
