A project to support, promote and disseminate contemporary dance in Lombardy
MILANO DANZA
THE CITY IS OUR STAGE
a citywide month of dance
From 4 September to 4 October 2026, MILANO DANZA brings together, in a single programme, dance events taking place across Milan and the Lombardy region, transforming theatres, museums, public squares, cultural venues and iconic locations into one city-wide stage.
For an entire month, performances, workshops, talks and masterclasses invite residents and visitors alike to explore the language of dance, celebrating the richness of the region's artistic landscape while connecting its cultural organisations through a shared programme.
An inclusive cultural experience, open to everyone, creating opportunities for discovery, participation and exchange, and fostering dialogue between people, places and communities, both within and beyond the city.
An initiative promoted by the Municipality of Milan and DANCEHAUSpiù – National Dance Production Centre, in collaboration with the dance card network, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Lombardy Region.
