SENEGAL
Each dancer carried out a period of artistic residency in the different destination countries, meeting in the morning with the local community, especially groups of male and female students from local dance schools, in the form of a seminar dedicated to the hybridisation of techniques and the exchange of practices. In the afternoon, they dedicated themselves to research aimed at the realisation of a solo that was presented in the form of a work in progress at the end of the residency.
Karim Mansaly
| LOCAL ARTIST
After graduating in Fine Arts, he worked as a graphic designer for 6 years in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi. Since 2008, he has been creating independent artworks in various mediums of painting, digital graphics and installation art. His artworks are an exercise in the exploration of the self, as a creature of nature; an evolution through the understanding of physical, sensual and spiritual needs. They are an expression of personal confusions, visions, emotions and realisations.

Class of 1984. Choreographer, dancer and teacher, he began his career as a b-boy, and then approached new-style hip hop and house, studying technique and groove with the best Italian and international teachers. Founder of ๐๐ข๐ข๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ in Brescia, an experimental centre for urban dances, he is co-choreographer and dancer of the ๐๐ฎ๐๐น๐ฎ and ๐ ๐ป๐ฎ๐ถ'๐ crews for which he currently dances.
An established and recognised freestyler on the national and European scene, he has collaborated over the years with various crews and companies such as ๐ข๐ ๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ป, ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ผ ๐ฃ๐ต๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐พ๐๐ฒ, ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐, choreographer ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ผ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ป๐ฎ and ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ.
Since 2011, he has been a juror in Italy and Europe in Urban Dance competitions. Currently, he teaches Hip Hop at ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ by Susanna Beltrami.
Baidy Ba
| OPERATOR
Dancer, choreographer and performer. National champion in the Popping Dance category at the National Kaay Fecc battle and nominated as best dancer of the year 2014. From 2012 he began his contemporary and classical training with Guillaume Siard, Preljocaj Dance Company, and with Alioune Diagne of Cie Diagn'art in St Louis (Senegal). From 2013 to 2018 he was part of the Ecole Des Sables programme. He has danced with the Tenane and Afreekanam Companies. He is currently the Artistic Director and Founder of the first contemporary dance company in Kaolack, Senegal, the Mbosse Dance Company supported by the French Institute in Dakar and in residence at the Alliance Française de Kaolack. With the Company, he created a dance programme for local schools in Kaolack, supported by the AllianceFrançaise in Kaolack and the Senegalese Ministry of Culture. He was named Young Kaolacker of the Year 2021 by the Senegalese government.
