So read the February 2, 1916 announcement that accompanied the opening of the well-known venue at Mirror Alley 1 in Zurich... A century later that same street becomes the pretext place to invite today's artists, musicians, actors and dancers, to a new call to action and with them, the audience, dragged inside a gallery of surreal characters, grotesque objects and places with visionary contours. Renouncing on a punctual narrative, the show, develops on different reading planes in which various stories and happenings merge, hiding deep suggestions about the world of art and what it means to be an artist today..

 

It is up to the viewer to play with the crackling tiles of this puzzle that gradually comes together in an alternation of irreverent and provocative performances, musical performances and literary readings, and performative actions that break all barriers between stage space and audience. Onstage, three artists and a musical performer will be guided and continually prompted by an ambiguous and mysterious character, a modern-day talking cricket...
