Starting in 1985, she created various works such as Fuga in valzer (1986), Dressoir (1987) and Sopra un picco in Darien (1988). Later Beltrami created several shows inspired by Spanish theatre and dance such as El amor brujo (1989), Diablo, Storia Flamenca (1990), Blu Diablo (1995).

Since 1995, Beltrami has collaborated with the etoile Luciana Savignano, with whom she founded the Pier Lombardo Danza company in 1998. For Savignano, Beltrami has created various shows including Her Name.... Carmen, Tango di luna, La Lupa, Le sacre, ...
